Last century, the 24 hours of Le Mans used to be among the most popular race in the world. It gathered a lot of famous car makers like Porsche, Jaguar, Toyota, Mazda, Nissan,BMW, Mercedes,not forgeting the less prestigious Courage, WM, ALD,Tiga…No chicane in the long straight, less VIP, more noise, and smaller fences between the track and the public…What a race!I would like to dedicate this small film to all these fans of Le Mans, the British in particular and their famous Jaguar XJR9.
Au siecle dernier les 24 heures du Mans attiraient de nombreux constructeurs; Porsche, Jaguar, Toyota, Mazda, Nissan, Courage, WM, Tiga, ALD…Pas de chicane, pas de grillage, moins de VIP,+ de bruit…Quel course! J’aimerai rendre hommage à ma manière à tous ceux qui ont contribué au prestige des 24 heures durant la decennie 80 et en particulier les supporters de Jaguar.
